Self Balancing Personal Transport

Omeo's mission is to change the thinking on personal mobility. Pairing innovative technology and cool design, it builds personal transport products that change lives - exciting and innovative self balancing two wheel personal mobility vehicles.

It all started when the Omeo founder and designer identified the limitations of traditional wheelchairs, and put his vast experience, and proven skills in product design and development, to the task. His vision - to give people dealing with mobility challenges, their freedom of movement and accessibility back.

Omeo partnered with Beta Solutions, particularly for the specialist electronic design skills required, to develop the self-balancing mobility vehicle.

Beta Solutions assisted with:

• Hardware electronics design for schematics and PCBs
• The firmware design of complex control systems and digital signal processing.
• Software for diagnostics, testing and calibration of the product.

The complex nature of the self balancing mobility vehicle meant the product was made up of multiple, smaller embedded systems, all communicating and playing their part in an overall system. Developing such a system took multiple iterations, and constant refinement, to deliver the quality product now sold.

The award-winning Omeo mobility vehicle is currently selling across the globe, with support networks in North America, Australia, United Kingdom and Europe. It's helped many people find different work opportunities, and new recreational hobbies, aided by their "Off-road" package. Omeo's constant innovation and refinement is not only an inspiration, it makes a life-changing impact on many.
